Concert

For my birthday my amazing boyfriend got me Brad Paisley concert tickets. When Jon and I got to the concert we found our seats and almost died. We were so high up! But, Jon got "the best seats" that were left when he got the tickets... amazing how fast concerts sell out. It ended up being perfect. I saw a few friends that had seats almost right next to us. It was great. Then the concert started. Caitlyn something (an indian country singer) opened first. She sang a song about telling her dad its ok to let go now because she can do it on her own. That is how I feel and I had heard the song before. I love it! Then Dierks Bently came out and gave an amazing performance. Although our opening acts were great, no one can beat Brad... his voice is even better in concert than on the radio! He was so so so so GOOD! I loved it. Jon and I had a blast. We finally left the concert around 10:30 because we thougt it was over but right as we got out Brad started playing Ticks! CRAP. I cant believe I missed that song. Oh well... apparently he really was going to give us our moneys worth! Haha. It was the best concert ever. I cant wait to see him again!

Before the concert Jon and I went to the Steam Plant in Spokane. It was ok, but we were both a little disappointed. We were expecting really good food and were willing to pay the price, but we got really mediocre food for double the price! Oh well, we still had fun. And it was a new experience. The building was really neat too. And the drink I ordered was good. So, not too much to complain about I guess.

It's that kind of day

You know those days when you know you should be doing homework or something productive, but just cant bring yourself to do it? Well, it's that kind of day for me. I feel like I could be doing so many productive things right now, but I just get bored when I think of doing them. I have a huge paper I could be writing for an online class, massive amounts of reading for my Monday and Tuesday class, a presentation for my Thursday class, and an assignment for my Friday class that I will be missing. Ugh, I just have no motivation right now what so ever!

Valentines Day

I seems the most obvious topics are the ones we forget to write about. Everyone has been writing about Valentines Day even though it was a while ago now. Well my Valentines Day story is very long, so grab a warm drink and cuddle up!

So, on Friday Jon and I got to Spokane only to find my mom waiting in the driveway saying goodbye to a carfull of my siblings. My mom told me SHe packed my skis too and just sent them off with Katie and Joey. I told my mom I didnt know what she was talking about only to realize they had planned a family vacation weekend at Schweitzer Mountain without telling Jon and I. It was a huge mistake, they would love us to go with them and my mom was even telling me that Jon and I were riding up with her. Well, Tommy forgot to tell me that we were going to Schweitzer and my mom thought Tommy told me, but Tommy thought my mom would have told me. So anyway. Jon and i decide to go up with them for a night. So we pack up some clothes, our ski stuff, and get on the road. Jon skied on Saturday and I stayed home looking up places to go out to eat for dinner in Sandpoint. Then I got ready and curled my hair and everything. I was so excited.

Around four we leave the condo and go down on our way to Sandpoint. We get to the first restaurant and it was like an old hotel, old folks home feel! GROSS! So we turned around just as fast as we opened the door. The second restaurant was just as bad. So the third place was an Italian place that smelled SO good. Of course they were full for the night. So we spent another 30 minutes looking around Sandpoint before we decided to just head to Spokane.

We called 10 different places on the way to Spokane and everywhere was full. Red Robin looked like it was going to be the winner. So we went to Red Robin and it was actually really nice. After Red Robin we went to the store and I got wine and chocolate covered strawberries. Then we went to Jon's dad's house (his dad was out of town). Then we went into the hot tub and relaxed with chocolate covered strawberries and wine. It was SO amazing.

After the hot tub we came inside and watched a movie. Jon's step mom burns DVD's so they have TONS of movies. We watched Wall-e because neither of us had seen it and we heard it was good. It was actually really cute. Then it was off to bed. In the morning Jon took me to Breakfast at the Train. So fun. It was a great Valentines Day! Could not have asked for a better Valentines Day!

I love you Jon!

The Hike Continues

A few days ago I got informed that one of the schools I really wanted to student teach at already is slammed with student teachers from Spokane schools. This means I really have to pray that my second or third choice will take me, otherwise I might be shipped out to Coeur D Alene. Please pray with me! Updates are soon to come.

Camera, Sad Story, Superbowl

My mom brought me good news on Thursday during my art class. My phone rang which reminded me to put it on vibrate and I got good news. The workers at my dads office found my camera! It was right where I told them to look in their work truck, but they are men and apparently cannot look in a glove box!!!!

On saturday night I went out with some friends and found out some sad news. A girl I know made a life decision to have sex for the first time with a guy she was not dating and who obviously did not care about her. In the end he ended up taking her virginity, getting her pregnant and giving her a disease! He was a complete ass and told her she was a whore and to not tell anyone it is his. He also told her she had to get an abortion. Well, Jane (the baby) is due to come onto the earth in about two weeks! What a blessing. The mom and keeping her and her family is supporting her. I just want all of my girls out there to know to be safe and only give yourself to those who will love you and cherish you for the rest of their life! You do not want a man to run out and leave you with nasty diseases because he does not care about you.

The Superbowl turned out to be an upset for most of my family. Cardinals played a good game though! I had tons of fun and delicious food! My mom even got me a Costco cake. YUM! I was sad to leave at the end of the night and drive 2 hours to Moscow, Idaho. But you gotta leave the ones you love to grow closer and fonder right? Haha. Well, I guess but I wish I could just be home already! I am sick of school, and homework.
